Provide renewed support to Goa's Utsavi Rangbhumi tradition

Fulfilled. The Scheme for Upliftment of Utsavi Rangabhumi originally predates the election and is therefore treated as baseline rather than new delivery. Post-election action nevertheless demonstrates the promised renewed impetus. During 2024-25, the Directorate provided Rs 7.69 lakh to 32 theatre groups for prose and musical productions in rural and festival settings. The Performance Budget provided Rs 20 lakh for 2025-26. In May 2025, the Government formally extended the scheme until March 31, 2028. Continued financial support to multiple groups, a dedicated budget provision and multi-year statutory extension substantively promote the growth and continuation of Utsavi Rangbhumi. The manifesto prescribed no higher grant rate or numerical beneficiary target. Status fulfilled.
