Operationalise Mopa Aerocity with a business and convention centre

On track, but not fulfilled. The commitment requires operational Aerocity development at Mopa, including a modern business and convention centre supporting business tourism. The Aerocity master plan provides for an airport-linked district containing hospitality, convention, business, commercial, retail and logistics infrastructure. A March 2025 Assembly reply confirms that city-side land had been subleased for two hotel projects: an Enconventions hotel and a Ginger hotel. The 300-room Ginger property is planned as part of the first phase and is expected to open in 2027. These leases constitute concrete physical and commercial implementation of Aerocity. However, the Assembly reply states that the concession agreement contains no specific deadline for completing city-side development. No approved source confirms that the wider Aerocity, Grade-A business spaces or the promised state-of-the-art convention centre are operational. Status on_track.
