Partial. This entry is distinct from expansion of the scholarship's institutional scope because it concerns the scale or quantum of financial assistance available to academically outstanding students. The revised Manohar Parrikar Goa Scholars Scheme increases the normal number of annual awards from 20 to 40 and the permitted maximum from 30 to 50. This substantially expands the number of meritorious students who may receive assistance and can increase aggregate scheme support. However, the individual award for study in India was reduced from Rs 8 lakh under the earlier scheme to Rs 6 lakh. Assistance for overseas study was changed from USD 25,000 to Rs 15 lakh. Therefore, the revised framework expands beneficiary capacity but does not establish an increase in the financial amount received by each selected student. No separate approved scheme providing a clear higher per-student amount for the same high-performing beneficiary group was identified. Status partial.
