Establish a government veterinary college and research institute

In May 2026, the Directorate of Technical Education announced centralised admission to 40 BVSc and AH seats at the college for the 2026-27 academic year. These measures establish specific funding, staffing and admission arrangements. However, no approved source yet confirms that regular teaching has commenced, that all required laboratories and clinical facilities are operational, or that a functioning veterinary research institute has begun research activity.
