On track, but not fulfilled. The Government has transferred land at Ella for a new Goa State Museum and prepared a detailed project proposal incorporating curatorial requirements. The 2025-26 Budget allocated Rs 14.86 crore to the Museum Department and announced upgradation of the existing museum and commencement of construction of the new museum building. The Estimates of Receipts also provide for Rs 10 crore in Central assistance for the museum building. These constitute funded and concrete implementation steps. However, no approved source confirms completion or opening of the new building, international-standard conservation and exhibition facilities, international accreditation or equivalent completed transformation of the Goa State Museum. Status on_track.
