Fulfilled. The promise is to expand both undergraduate and postgraduate seats at Goa Medical College. Before the election term, the Governor's Address 2022 recorded that postgraduate seats had increased from 98 to 117. The Annual Administration Report 2024-25 records that MBBS intake was raised to 200 from academic year 2024-25 and that GMC offered 140 postgraduate and 16 super-speciality seats. These official figures confirm expansion in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education capacity. Goa Budget 2025-26 also announced further additions to MBBS, postgraduate and super-speciality seats. Status fulfilled.

To commemorate the role of teachers in building societies, we shall intro-duce the "Vasishtha Guru Puraskar" which will be awarded to 15 teach-ers, with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh every year and they will be supported by the state for further training abroad.
We will expeditiously fill all vacant teaching posts in all government edu-cational institutions.
We will undertake half-yearly taluka level teacher training workshops to improve teaching skills as envisioned by NEP 2020.
