Delivered in the BJP government’s first budget (25 March 2025): the monthly pension was raised by ₹500 across both slabs as promised — ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 for ages 60-69, and ₹2,500 to ₹3,000 for those 70+ (the higher slab also covering widows, persons with disabilities and destitutes), with ₹3,227 crore allocated. The scheme was further expanded with 50,000 additional pensions in September 2025. NOTE: the exact slab figures are best back-stopped with a Delhi Social Welfare notification when tidying.
