Our Assessment

Construction of the Amaravati capital has resumed under the current government, with a fresh round of land pooling (around 20,494 acres) for key infrastructure, and the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2026 recognising Amaravati as the sole capital was passed by the Lok Sabha in April 2026.
