What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“Expand the capacity of the Government Medical Colleges in Haldwani, Dehradun and Srinagar by adding more MBBS and PG seats.”
Our Assessment
Uttarakhand's official medical-education list shows government medical colleges at Srinagar, Haldwani and Dehradun with UG and PG/DNB seat capacity, and the state has increased overall medical-seat capacity since 2022. However, I did not verify a clear post-2022 seat addition specifically at all three named colleges. This is partial because capacity exists and the wider medical-seat promise was delivered, but the three-college expansion claim is not cleanly proven. Budget status: related medical-college funding exists, but no specific allocation for these three expansions was isolated.
