Himalayan ecology and disaster resilience are addressed through the National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem, glacial-lake-outburst-flood (GLOF) risk mitigation programmes, landslide early-warning work and NDMA disaster-management measures. A holistic, dedicated approach for the Himalayan states is being pursued but remains incremental given rising disaster frequency. Partial, low confidence.
