Our Assessment
The Modernisation of Police Forces (MPF) scheme provides central assistance to states for modern weaponry, equipment, training, mobility, forensics and technology (including CCTNS and ICJS integration linking police, courts, prisons, prosecution and forensics). Implementation is ongoing and uneven across states, so the transformation is in progress. Partial.
