Help us verifyWhat does this status mean?
The term is active and there is no evidence of action or reversal.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will launch an Emergency And Trauma Care Mission to provide immediate and effective care to trauma patients.”
Our Assessment
Trauma and emergency care are supported through existing programmes - trauma-care facilities along national highways, the Capacity Building scheme, critical-care blocks under PM-ABHIM, and emergency response services (e.g. 108 ambulances) - and a cashless treatment scheme for road-accident victims has been introduced. However, a distinct, formally launched "Emergency and Trauma Care Mission" by that name, as pledged, is not clearly evidenced. Pending, low confidence.
