The new government tabled the 14 pending CAG reports — withheld during the previous term — in the first session of the eighth Legislative Assembly (25 February 2025), including the report on the 2021-22 excise policy (a flagged revenue loss of about ₹2,026 crore) and a report on public-health services. The Delhi High Court had earlier observed that the non-tabling of these reports was a breach of constitutional and statutory obligations.
