Delivered. On 28 April 2025 the Delhi government, alongside the Union government, launched the Ayushman Vay Vandana scheme for all residents aged 70 and above — ₹10 lakh annual cover (₹5 lakh central AB-PMJAY + ₹5 lakh Delhi top-up) regardless of income, with free diagnostic tests. Free OPD is provided through the city’s Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. Enrolment is ongoing — roughly 2.28 lakh seniors aged 70+ had received Vay Vandana cards in Delhi by August 2025.
