Minimum wage for archakas in private temples

On track. Archakas in low-income (non-assessable) temples receive remuneration through the Endowments Department's needy-temples scheme - about Rs 10,000 per temple, of which roughly Rs 7,000 goes to the archaka's remuneration and Rs 3,000 toward pooja materials - providing a minimum support level for priests in temples without sufficient income. This is a continuing Endowments scheme.
