“Take strong measures to rapidly increase the state's gross domestic product.”
Per the Andhra Pradesh Socio-Economic Survey 2024-25 (the state government own report, tabled in the legislature with the budget), GSDP for 2024-25 was estimated at Rs 16.06 lakh crore - up from Rs 14.22 lakh crore - growing 9.24% at constant prices and 12.94% at current prices, against national rates of 6.4% and 9.7%. The government further reported GSDP growth of 11.28% in the second quarter of 2025-26, above the national average. By this official data the state output is rising faster than the national benchmark. Caveats: the figures are the state government own estimates, growth cannot be cleanly attributed to specific government measures, and the promise sets no defined target for "rapidly".
