Our Assessment
The Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project (APMIP) provides up to 90% subsidy on drip irrigation for small and marginal farmers (with lower slabs of 70% and 50% for larger holdings); the project remains active with 2025-26 district targets. This is a continuing scheme rather than a new introduction.
