Vocational education integration is clearly progressing: the Union Education Ministry reported 1,066 Uttarakhand schools approved and 531 schools implemented for skill education under NEP as of the 2025 Lok Sabha reply, with separate skill-education allocations for 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. However, this is not full integration at higher secondary levels in both government and private schools. This is partial because the implementation is measurable but far short of the manifesto scale. Budget status: skill-education allocations for Uttarakhand are verified under Samagra Shiksha.
