The Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 was enacted/published as Act No. 2 of 2024, and both the Governor/Lok Bhavan and Higher Education Department host the Act. Amendments followed in 2024 and 2025. Objective met: the promised private-university regulatory Act was enacted and is officially hosted. Budget: Legislative/regulatory reform; no direct budget allocation required.
