Uttarakhand has skill-development infrastructure and public-private centres of excellence, including manufacturing technology efforts at ITIs, but I did not find evidence of Tool Room Training and Multi Skill Development Centres established in every district under the promised banner. Employability training objective is partly served by existing skilling/CoE activity, but the promised district-wise Tool Room/Multi Skill centre network is not verified. Budget: Skill-development project activity exists; no district-wise tool-room-centre allocation found.

View source“Uttarakhand State Private Universities Act” will be enacted to ensure effective regulations of private universities in the state as well as enable a transparent process in opening new private universities.
Unnecessary rules like that of mandatory essentiality certificates will be abolished.
Compliance norms for schools will be streamlined and made more transparent.
