Stadium and academy in every block

The promise was a stadium with attached training academy in every block. TOI reported in March 2026 that the CM told the Assembly mini-stadiums would be constructed in every block, that the 2026-27 budget includes provisions, and that the Sports Minister said a Legacy Policy would use National Games infrastructure as training academies. The same report gave per-centre budget norms of Rs 42.5 lakh for Khel Maidans and Rs 1.70 crore for mini-stadiums, while also noting no separate maintenance fund. This is credible progress, but not fulfilled because every-block construction and attached academies are not yet verified as complete.
