UKPSC online recruitment material continues to include fee-payment steps and category-wise recruitment fees in post-2022 notifications. I did not find a blanket no-fee rule for applicants invited for recruitment. The current recruitment process still charges application/processing fees in at least some UKPSC recruitments, so the promise is contradicted rather than merely unverified. Budget: Fee waiver would reduce commission/application-fee receipts; no waiver allocation found.
