“We will provide free tablet computers to all students pursuing undergraduate courses in government and government-aided colleges.”
Uttarakhand had implemented a CM Tablet Scheme/Tablet Distribution Scheme using DBT of ₹12,000 for eligible students, including government college students, but the strongest public evidence is from the 2021-22 session and does not verify universal post-2022 coverage for all UG students in both government and government-aided colleges. Objective partially met: tablet/DBT support existed for college students, but universal UG coverage across government and aided colleges after the 2022 mandate is not clearly verified. Budget: Tablet DBT support of ₹12,000 per student is evidenced in institutional/government-order material; no current universal UG allocation isolated.
BJP manifesto promised: We will provide free tablet computers to all students pursuing undergraduate courses in government and government-aided colleges.
