“We will provide 50,000 government jobs to the youth of Uttarakhand. Of these, 24,000 will be provided immediately after returning to power.”
An official Information and Public Relations Department release in March 2026 says more than 30,000 young people secured government jobs in the previous four years. That is substantial progress, but still below the promised 50,000 and does not prove that 24,000 were provided immediately after return to power. The state has delivered a large number of government jobs, but the numeric target and immediate-delivery sub-target are not fully met on verified evidence. Budget: Recruitment and salary liabilities are distributed across departments; no single promise-specific allocation was isolated.

This leader will directly report to the Chief Minister and assist the Government to revamp & streamline the skilling infrastructure in Uttarakhand to meet Global Industry standards, enabling faster youth employment and overall economic development.
