Rs 3,000 apprenticeship stipend for unemployed youth
Bharatiya Janata Party · Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly Election 2022
Last updated 27 Jun 2026
“Provide a stipend of ₹ 3,000 under a newly created Chief Minister's Apprenticeships for Uttarakhand Youth Scheme to any willing unemployed youth for a period of one year, in addition to the stipend provided by the central government.”
Our Assessment
lowThe promise was a new Chief Minister apprenticeship scheme adding Rs 3,000 per month for any willing unemployed youth for one year, over and above the central stipend. The state Skill Development and Employment Department lists the regular Apprenticeship Training Scheme with minimum stipends ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 9,000 depending on qualification, but I did not find approved-source evidence of the promised additional Rs 3,000 CM top-up scheme. Existing national apprenticeship stipends cannot be counted as delivery of a state add-on. Budget status: no state top-up allocation found.
