Secondary-school renovation is being pursued through Operation Kayakalp's secondary component and the Secondary Education Department's Project Alankar, upgrading schools with smart classes, computer labs, Wi-Fi, libraries and modern furniture. However, coverage so far (Project Alankar mapped about 2,295 schools) is far short of the promised 30,000 secondary schools. Marked partial.
