Our Assessment

Partly delivered. Uttar Pradesh provides caste-certificate services through e-District and other citizen-service systems. However, clear evidence confirming guaranteed delivery within 15 days for all Scheduled Caste applicants and automatic caste certificate distribution to newborns along with birth certificates was not found.
