Our Assessment

The manifesto promised that candidates would not need to pay a fee for each TSPSC competitive exam within a year, instead paying only a single yearly registration fee. As of the 2024-25 recruitment cycles, TSPSC continued to charge separate examination and application processing fees per notification, in the range of about Rs 80 to Rs 200, with SC, ST and BC candidates exempted under the pre-existing reservation-linked fee waiver rather than under a new universal one-time yearly registration model. No approved-source evidence was found that the promised one-time yearly registration replacing per-exam fees for all candidates has been introduced.
