Scrap the Dharani portal and replace the revenue mechanism

The declaration promised to scrap the previous government's Dharani land records portal and replace it with a new revenue mechanism protecting ownership rights. One caveat recorded neutrally: erroneous entries carried over from Dharani are not automatically fixed and require correction within a statutory window, so the protection of ownership rights for every holder remains a work in progress even though the replacement itself is complete. Budget: the state reported an allocation of around Rs 1,200 crore for comprehensive land surveys underpinning the new system, indicating allocation and active utilisation.
