“A comprehensive portal will be set-up to receive public complaints and address them in due time.”
The manifesto promised a comprehensive portal to receive public complaints and address them in due time. The Prajavani grievance system operates a portal on which every complaint received at state, district and revenue-division level programmes must be registered, with a dated receipt and unique reference ID issued to the citizen for online tracking. An April 2026 government order mandates resolution within a maximum of 30 days of registration, with action-taken reports uploaded to the portal, an auto-escalation mechanism for unresolved grievances, and a state Programme Management Unit. The promised mechanism, complaint intake plus time-bound addressal through a portal, is verifiably operational per official sources. Budget: no separate budget line was examined; the system is delivered through existing administrative machinery.
