Solarise tube wells under PM-KUSUM

The manifesto promised 100 percent solar-energy operation of all existing tube wells in Madhya Pradesh under PM-KUSUM. MNRE describes PM-KUSUM as the national framework for decentralised solar plants, stand-alone solar agriculture pumps and solarisation of grid-connected pumps, with large central financial support. Madhya Pradesh-specific reporting shows the Chief Minister announcing a 90 percent subsidy on solar pumps and a plan for 32 lakh solar pumps, and separate reporting shows Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana activity involving up to 5,000 MW decentralised solar plants across agricultural feeders. These are credible steps toward farm-power solarisation, but not proof that all existing tube wells are already 100 percent solar-powered. The verdict is on_track because the policy direction and implementation pipeline are active, but full solarisation is not verified. Budget: PM-KUSUM has central support and MP solar-pump activity is reported, but utilisation proving 100 percent tube-well solarisation was not found.
