Sant Ravidas memorial in Sagar

The manifesto promised construction of a memorial for Sant Shiromani Gurudev Shri Ravidas ji. PIB confirms that the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone in Sagar in August 2023 for a memorial to be constructed at a cost of more than Rs 100 crore. That establishes a sanctioned and formally launched project, but a foundation stone is not completion. No approved-source evidence was found in this pass showing that the memorial has been completed, inaugurated or opened to the public after the 2023 foundation milestone. Because the work was visibly launched but no later approved milestone was found after an extended period, the verdict is stalled. Budget: more than Rs 100 crore project cost is officially stated, but no utilisation or completion expenditure was found.
