Pink bus network for women in major cities

The manifesto promised a pink bus network in all major cities on the lines of Indore’s pink buses for safe women’s travel. Indore’s women-only pink bus service is well-evidenced: New Indian Express reported two women-only Pink iBuses in 2021, and Clean Air Catalyst reported pink buses reserved for women in Indore’s electric-bus ecosystem. However, both sources mainly support the pre-existing Indore model, not expansion to all major Madhya Pradesh cities after the 2023 manifesto. No approved-source evidence was found for a statewide major-city pink-bus rollout. The verdict is partial because the model exists in Indore, but the promised network expansion is not verified.
