Centre-state-city cooperative arrangements underpin major urban programmes - metro rail projects (jointly funded special purpose vehicles), AMRUT 2.0, the Smart Cities Mission (special purpose vehicles with central, state and ULB participation) and PM-eBus Sewa - representing a model of shared long-term urban investment. However, a distinct new cooperative urban-governance framework as a named initiative is only partially evidenced. Partial, low confidence.
We will create big convention centres across cities and make Bharat into a global destination for conferences and exhibitions.
We will continue eliminating open landfills to manage all kinds of waste being produced in Bharat through ‘Waste to Wealth Mission’.
We will develop more green spaces like parks, playgrounds etc., reviving water bodies and developing natural spaces to make cities more adaptable, sustainable and people-friendly.
