“We will create big convention centres across cities and make Bharat into a global destination for conferences and exhibitions.”
World-class convention and exhibition infrastructure has been created, most notably Bharat Mandapam (the redeveloped ITPO/Pragati Maidan complex, which hosted the 2023 G20 Summit) and Yashobhoomi (the India International Convention and Expo Centre at Dwarka, among the largest such facilities globally), positioning India for large international conferences and exhibitions (MICE tourism). Expansion of such hubs to more cities is continuing, so the pledge shows strong delivery in major centres with broader rollout ongoing. Partial (strong action).
Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre, Dwarka) inaugurated, complementing Bharat Mandapam as a world-class MICE venue.
