India’s non-fossil share of installed electricity capacity crossed 50 per cent in June 2025 - five years ahead of its 2030 NDC target - and continues to rise (non-fossil capacity around 262 GW), consistent with the Panchamrit commitments. The net-zero-by-2070 target is a long-horizon goal on which interim progress (renewables, efficiency, green hydrogen) is being made. Partial (strong action). Through these programmes, our citizens will benefit from the opportunity to live in a clean environment.
We will promote recycling programmes across the country. We will institutionalise recycling mandates across sectors to maximise mineral recovery from used products.
