Khadi rejuvenation has shown strong results domestically: the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) recorded an all-time-high turnover of about Rs 1.70 lakh crore in FY2024-25 (sales up 447% and production up 347% over 2013-14), with Khadi garment sales up 561% and cumulative employment rising to 1.94 crore, and a target of Rs 2 lakh crore for 2025-26. Repositioning and promotion (including from high-profile national platforms) have lifted the brand. The "national brand" element is being delivered; the explicit "global brand"/export dimension is less quantified, so the pledge is partly fulfilled. Partial.
