Action on MSME cyber-protection is under way: CERT-In made annual cybersecurity audits applicable to MSMEs (from September 2025) and, with MeitY, provides standard checklists and reporting templates, while the Ministry of MSME observed Cyber Security Awareness Month and runs awareness drives amid a reported ~30% year-on-year rise in cyber incidents at small/medium businesses. However, a dedicated "suite of public cybersecurity products" purpose-built for small traders and MSMEs (the specific pledge) is only partially evidenced — current measures lean toward audits, awareness and guidelines rather than ready-to-use protective tools.
