The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been modernising data systems - more frequent and new surveys (including a revamped Periodic Labour Force Survey with monthly estimates), updated base years, and digital data-collection platforms - to support data-driven policy. Capacity strengthening is ongoing, and questions about data quality and timeliness persist among analysts. Partial, low confidence.
We will continue our efforts to address the issues in the disturbed areas and remove AFSPA in a phased manner. We will further work towards resolution of inter-state border disputes amongst Northeastern states through sustained efforts.
We will work towards further improving the legal framework to promote arbitration and mediation ecosystem.
We will establish fast track courts for quick disposal of pendency in identified areas.
