On track. The promise was to offer reasonable compensation during drought and famine for crop loss, postpone recovery of distressed loans, and waive complete interest. After 223 taluks were declared drought-affected in 2023, the state disbursed input-subsidy compensation to farmers on a large scale (via the Parihara direct-benefit-transfer mechanism) and in 2025 released a further Rs 1,033.60 crore top-up to 14.24 lakh farmers; co-operative banks were also directed to defer loan recovery and refrain from attaching defaulting farmers' properties. Active, substantial delivery on compensation and loan-recovery relief; the specific 'waive complete interest' element is not separately confirmed, and much crop-loss compensation draws on central SDRF/NDRF funds.
