On track. The state-owned MySugar factory in Mandya - shut for around two years - was revived in 2023 with state funds (the Congress government released around Rs 175 crore), and sugarcane crushing resumed, with the Chief Minister inaugurating operations. The factory processed about 2.41 lakh tonnes of cane in 2023-24, though subsequent seasons saw operational shortfalls. The core commitment (rejuvenate MySugar) is delivered and operating; the additional commitment to plan/establish new sugar factories in Mandya is not confirmed.
To set up two Fish Processing Parks in each of the coastal districts (Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi) and to set up required number of cold storage units to store marine products.
To undertake programmes for the overall development of fishermen community: Providing appropriate transportation from dock to Market.
To undertake programmes for the overall development of fishermen community: Increasing the diesel quantity upto 500 litres per day.
