Open 4 English-medium schools in every assembly constituency

The government acted on English-medium education more broadly than the promise in one respect, introducing English-medium instruction from Class 1 in all government schools. The dedicated-school element took the form of Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools, but at one per assembly constituency rather than four, built in a phased manner with many still under construction. Construction had begun in only a handful of constituencies as of early 2025. The specific four English-medium schools per constituency model was not adopted, and the flagship schools are incomplete, so this is partial.
