What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will promote Gujarat as a centre of wellness tourism by incentivising setting up Ayurveda Parks, Yoga and Wellness Retreats, and Naturopathy Centres in Jamnagar, Kevadia, and Dharoi.”
Our Assessment
The state's 2021–25 investor guidelines included eligibility for wellness resorts, providing a relevant incentive mechanism before the pledge. This does not establish the promised Ayurveda parks, yoga retreats and naturopathy centres across Jamnagar, Kevadia and Dharoi. Post-2022 incentive payments, commissioned facilities and visitor services at all three locations were not verified. General tourism construction is not automatically wellness delivery.
