Our Assessment

The 2026–27 budget proposes MICE infrastructure in Rajkot and several other cities, but that is not evidence of five completed centres at the pledge's specified locations. No matching commissioned network at Statue of Unity, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Kutch was verified. Existing convention halls or a similarly named private venue do not alone establish the promised new facilities.

The reasoning behind the verdict

Why this assessment?

Reviewed

01 · Delivery status

Why pending?

Matching implementation has not been verified; this is an evidence gap, not proof of non-delivery.

02 · Strength of evidence

Why low confidence?

The pledge is clear, but matching implementation records are insufficient.

What would help us reassess?

The documents that could clarify delivery of this commitment.

  • Project approvals, construction and commissioning at all five named destinations
