Our Assessment

A matching Gujarat state-level Vishwakarma Nigam covering the five named artisan communities was not verified in the reviewed official welfare material. Existing craft assistance or participation in the national PM Vishwakarma programme would not by itself establish this state institution. A differently named body could qualify if its mandate, beneficiary coverage and operating services demonstrably matched the pledge.

The reasoning behind the verdict

Why this assessment?

Reviewed

01 · Delivery status

Why pending?

Matching implementation has not been verified; this is an evidence gap, not proof of non-delivery.

02 · Strength of evidence

Why low confidence?

The pledge is clear, but matching implementation records are insufficient.

What would help us reassess?

The documents that could clarify delivery of this commitment.

  • State constitution order, coverage of the five communities and operating services

Status describes delivery. Confidence describes the evidence.
