What does this status mean?
The term is active and there is no evidence of action or reversal.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will launch Vicharti Vimukt Jaati Unnayan Yojana to assist them in setting up their business by providing them with government land.”
Our Assessment
An existing term-loan scheme supports businesses run by nomadic and denotified beneficiaries. That is a different form of assistance from the government-land entitlement in this pledge. A matching Unnayan Yojana launch, business-land allotment policy and actual allotments to eligible families were not verified. Comparable delivery under another programme name would count if the land benefit were documented.
