Our Assessment

The signed Shaktidoot 2.0 resolution of 10 August 2026 raises the top-tier annual need-based assistance ceiling to ₹50 lakh, above the promised ₹30 lakh. Its schedule also specifies lower category ceilings, including ₹35 lakh, ₹25 lakh and ₹15 lakh. The benefit-rule change is fulfilled. These are maximum entitlements subject to category, assessed need and selection; they are not evidence that all supported athletes receive ₹30 lakh or that the full ceiling has been disbursed.
