Our Assessment

Gujarat has completed transport-facility improvements during the current term. A government statement reported in August 2024 said 18 new bus stations and depots had opened between December 2022 and May 2024, with foundation stones laid for 20 more. The Governor’s February 2025 address also recorded newly operational passenger facilities. GSRTC reports an integrated depot-management system across all 125 depots, but its undated achievements page does not establish when the system was installed or verify physical modernisation of every depot. New and improved facilities demonstrate meaningful delivery, while the commitment to modernise all depots remains unverified. The assessment is Partially Done.
