Our Assessment

Policy implementation includes operating Centres of Excellence, a public sports-facility directory and digital athlete applications. The Assembly record reports 28 academies across 10 districts, while May 2026 reporting identifies initial approval for SVP Sports Enclave funding and land acquisition. These show partial delivery. Complete district-and-taluka provision, improved coaching ratios, the dated excellence-centre expansion, athlete career reskilling and measured service deadlines remain unverified.
