Our Assessment
May 2026 reporting records in-principle approval of ₹500 crore to initiate the proposed ₹5,050-crore enclave, including land acquisition, with a four-to-five-year completion objective. This is a concrete preparatory funding and administrative step. Approval does not establish money spent, construction progress or an operating completed enclave. The existing Narendra Modi Stadium and separately opened Naranpura complex do not by themselves complete this multi-sport project.
